This Largest delta in the world rises from the Bay of Bengal and goes up in the footsteps of the Himalayas. The mighty Bay of Bengal guards its coasts. Itinerary: Day 01: Arrival Arrive at Dhaka International Airport. Meet and greet our representative. We proceed to you in the hotel for check-in. Overnight at hotel in Dhaka. Dhaka is more than 1500 years old and became the capital of the country in 1608 under the Mughal rule. During ancient and medieval periods, the city was known to the world for its unique product, the Muslin – the nest fabric ever produced in the world. Day 02: Dhaka-Chittagong After buet breakfast in hotel we proceed to the Chittagong. En-route we visit Daudkani pier (Ghat) across the Gumoti river time to take snapshots of loaders busy loading & unloading pebble stone & sand from boats. Later we drive towards one of the biggest vegetable markets of Bangladesh “Nimsar” in Comilla. En-route complete Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch We arrived in Chittagong & looked an opportunity to cover Chittagong's local life & markets. Then check in hotel dinner and overnight hotel in Chittagong. Day 03: Chittagong – Cox’s Bazar Today time to capture early morning photographs of shermen unloading a collection of sea sh Karnaphuli shery ghat, If you are lucky, take a picture of the king of sh “Hilsa” the national sh of Bangladesh, considered one of the most testis’s sh. Don’t forget to witness the beautiful picturesque sunrise over Karnaphuli river & look around “Jaal” (Net) repaired by expertise. Then back to the hotel, complete breakfast check-out and proceed to Cox’s Bazar. En-route Lunch at a local restaurant. Upon arrival, we visit the popular sherman village “Himchari” to meet & interact with local livelihood of shermen’s families & kids. Bangladesh's famous moon boat popularly known as “Shampan” is the only means of transportation for catching sh in the deep sea for Himchari villages. Then enjoy the sunset at the largest unbroken sea beach in the world “Cox’s Bazar”. Then check-in hotel dinner and overnight hotel in Cox’s Bazar. Day 04: Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong Early morning visit to sh market & shermen's village. Breakfast in the hotel. Then we proceed to “Nazirhattek” village popularly known for dry sh (Shutki) processing. Discover men & women who are busy drying sh under the sun, a major livelihood of coastal shing communities. Complete lunch at local restaurant. After lunch we proceed to Chittagong. En-route we stop by local “Cattle Hat” (Cattle market) & explore the best photography of living animals. (Depends on subject to availability). We had our dinner at local restaurant & later proceeded to hotel check in overnight at hotel in Chittagong. Day 05: Chittagong- Dhaka [By Air] Early morning Time to take snaps of workers who are processing raw salt manually with the help of salt water in salt processing plants located along the bank of Karnaphuli River (Majirghat) in Chittagong, the salt processing plants cater to huge quantities of salt for Bangladesh's ever growing leather industry where salt is needed to preserve the raw animal skins. Complete After breakfast we visit a handmade shoe factory where people make shoes without machinery. We enjoy our lunch at local restaurant & proceed to Chittagong airport to y to Dhaka. Upon arrival dinner at local restaurant and transfer to hotel for check in. DAY-6: Dhaka Buet breakfast at hotel. We visit Karwan Bazar (name from Karwan Singh, a Marwari trader at 18th Century) sh market & vegetable market - the biggest wholesale market of Bangladesh & one of the largest marketplaces in South Asia. The wholesale market provides work for approximately 20,000 people and a daily revenue of 50 million Bangladeshi taka. Then complete our lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit Sadar Ghat is one of the most dynamic places in Dhaka & one of the largest river ports in the world. About 300 large and small passenger river boats (motorized) depart and arrive with an average of 500 passengers (Daily 150,000) every hour at the terminal every day. Dinner at local restaurant & transfer to hotel. Overnight hotel in Dhaka. Day 07: Dhaka Buet breakfast at hotel in Dhaka. Then time to take some pictures of cattle market and coal load-unload place at Gabtoli Here we also can nd how blacksmiths are following a hundred-year tradition for making knives, cooking utensils, tools and weapons. Later we drive towards Dhamrai, on the way we stop to explore the workers working at Brickeld & their lifestyle. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch We will take you to a remote village in Dhamrai on the outskirts of Dhaka to visit a pottery village where all of them make pottery from many of their generations. Bangladeshi Kumars (potter) has always laid stress on the basic form and texture of his articles. The wheel is of the common kind, thick with shoats ‘spokes, and terms on a pivot of hardwood on metal, provided with a large hub that acts as a revolving label. The potter throws the kneaded clay into the center of the wheel rounding it o, and then spins the wheel. As the whirling gathers momentum, he begins to shape the clay. When it is over he severs the shaped bit our the rest. As for the types of wares, pottery comprises true distinctive types of wear. Dinner at local restaurant back to hotel. Overnight hotel in Dhaka. Day 08: Dhaka Buet Breakfast at hotel then proceed to Tongi railway station. In this full day we see the scene of mass crowds of people boarding trains, heading for their home villages after completing the “Akheri Munajat” (Final Prayer) of Bishwa Ijtema. The Bishwa Ijtema is an annual gathering of Muslims in Tongi, by the banks of the River Turag, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is the second-largest Islamic congregation after the Hajj. It is one of the largest peaceful gatherings in the world. The Ijtema is a prayer meeting spread over three days. It culminates in the Akheri Munajat, or the Final Prayer, in which millions of devotees raise their hands in front of Allah (God) and pray for world peace. The Ijtema is considered a demonstration of Muslim unity, solidarity, mutual love and respect and an opportunity to reiterate their commitment to Islamic values. It is attended by devotees from 150 countries. The majority of its devotees come from across Bangladesh, the world's third-largest Muslim-majority country. Lunch at Tongi railway station (Local Food). After dinner at local Restaurant & transfer to hotel. Day 09: Departure Buffet breakfast in hotel. Then we visit “Karail Bosti” (Slum), one of the largest slums in Bangladesh. Korail covers approximately 100 acres and is home to more than 50,000 residents. lunch at local restaurant transfer to the airport for final transfer. End of Happy Journey. ------ END OF TOUR ------
