Itinerary: Day 01: Arrival Dhaka Arrive Dhaka International Airport. Meet and greet our representative. Transfer to Hotel. If time permits city tour will be oered to cover the National Parliament Building, Lord Curzon Hall. Stay overnight at hotel. Dhaka is more than 1500 years old and became the capital of the country in 1608 under the Mughal rule. During ancient and medieval periods, the city was known to the world for its unique product, the Muslin – the nest fabric ever produced in the world. Day 02: Dhaka City Tour After breakfast drive to old Dhaka. Walk through Shakhari Patty the narrow Hindu street. Enjoy designing conch shells; making and selling musical instruments etc. Walk to Ahsan Manzil- the palace of Muslim Nawab, then walk to Sadarghat waterfront crowded with dierent type of boats and crafts. Visit Ruplal House, Spice market. Walk through the Farashgonj. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to hotel. Fresh-up and dinner (a good local restaurant). Stay overnight at hotel. Day 03: Dhaka - Comilla Morning drive to Comilla. On the way visit Sonargaon, the old capital of Golden Bengal where the world-famous and nest “Muslin” was produced. Visit to ruins of Panam City and Folk-art Museum (Wednesday & Thursday closed) in a panoramic garden complex. Drive to Comilla to visit the spectacular Archaeological sites at Mainamati. Here you can experience Buddhist Viahara, Stupas and some other interesting Buddhist establishments from the 7th century A.D to the 12th century A.D. The rich archaeological museum is also worth visiting. Have your lunch at a Highway restaurant. Transfer to hotel for stay overnight. Day 04: Comilla – Rangamati After breakfast drive to Rangamati (220 KM) the queen of the hills (6 hrs). Visit the en-route visit Ethnological Museum at Chittagong. If time permits we visit Buddhist temple at Rajbana Vihara and Hanging Bridge. Have dinner and stay overnight at the lakeside hotel. Day 05: Rangamati – Bandarban Morning Cruise in the crystal clear water of Asia’s largest manmade Lake Kaptai and visit the hilltop tribal village at Mastarpara where you can also visit attractive forested hills. You can relish your stomach with an exciting lunch in the surroundings of a panoramic blue water lake. Afternoon drives to Bandarban and visit the most ornate Buddhist Golden temple (Buddha Dhatu Zadi) Hilltop through the scenic road passing through the forested hills and tribal villages. Day 06: Bandarban Morning drive to Murang Para to visit the Murang tribes and take a deep look at their lifestyle by exploring interior tribal villages on the hill slopes. The visit to Shailo propat (waterfall) by the Chimbook roadside is got great attraction. Afternoon visit you can stroll through the Meghla Eco Park to enjoy the wonderful natural setup. Have dinner and stay overnight at hotel. Day 07: Bandarban - Dhaka [Fly from Chittagong] Early morning you can undertake a jogging on the virgin hilly road to witness the colorful sunrise behind the Tiger Hills and after breakfast visit Tribal Bazar. Drive to Chittagong airport and y to Dhaka. Reach Dhaka. Transfer to hotel & overnight stay. Day 08: Dhaka - Tangail – Bogra Early morning after breakfast drive to Bogra passing through the 11th world’s longest Jamuna River Bridge (4.8 km). A short stoppage will be given either in the area of Kalihati of Tangail to visit the weaving industry. Have lunch at a Highway restaurant. Arrive at Bogra & transfer to the Bogra Hotel for check-in & fresh up. Afternoon visits the distinctive Mahasthangarh, which is the most ancient archaeological site of the 4th century BC. Here you can visit some isolated Maunds and ruins of both Hindu and Muslim eras. Dinner & stay overnight at hotel. Day 09: Bogra- Paharpur - Rajshahi After breakfast drive to Rajshahi, En-route visit the spectacular Buddhist Sompura Vihara at Paharpur - the single largest Buddhist Monastery in the world and the world heritage site. This 08th-century archaeological site contains 63 stone images and about 3,000 beautiful terracotta plaques. Here you can visit rich archaeological museum and nearby Shantal (aboriginal) village and their lifestyle. Further drive to Rajshahi. Reach Rajshahi and walk through the bank of Padma River & enjoy the lifestyle of villager who lives beside the river bank. Stay overnight at Hotel. Day 10: Rajshahi – Kustia – Jashore – Khulna After breakfast drive to the temple city Puthia (35 KM/ 30 Minutes) to visit the Shiva Temple, Puthia Palace & Govinda Temple. Further drive to Kustia (70 KM) to explore the mystic poet Lalon’s shrine. Further drive to Khulna (267 KM). Transfer to hotel for Stay overnight. Day 11: Sundarbans Early morning drive to Mongla to avail the vessel for Sundarbans & start cruising through the river Mirgamari, Harintana, Shella etc. The cruise may take (6-7 hrs) depending on tide. During this long cruise you will be passing through different forest islands and obviously you may expect to click your Zoom camera to shoot different wild animals like spotted Deer, Rhesus Macaque, colorful birds specially the white large Egrets, White-bellied sea Eagle or huge Crocodiles basking on the shore or playful diving of Gangetic dolphins in the river water is a common feature in this great jungle. Reach Katka Island in the afternoon and anchor the boat for subsequent forest activities. Evening (if time permits) explore the island by forest hiking inside the forest to observe the wild animals in their own domain. Dinner and stay overnight on the boat’s cabin. Day 12: Sundarban Early morning explores the most attractive Jamtala Island famous for the Royal Bengal Tiger, different wild animals & birds. Here you can enjoy the canal cruising by small country boat for bird watching. After breakfast some interesting forest activities will be organized which include climbing of watch tower to observe the wild animals, take interesting jungle hiking through the deep-covered forest to have the closer look at wild animals and the mangrove vegetation. Walking through the Badamtala beach (2.5 km) will be a great experience to follow the tiger’s trail down to the beach and savannah-type grasslands in the backdrop of the deep-covered forest. Return to boat and sail for Kachikhali Island (Tiger Point - 2 hrs) which is very famous for its wildlife habitat and especially for the tiger’s domain. Afternoon take an adventurous forest hike in the covered forest and as well as in the broad grasslands where you can easily observe the big herds of spotted deer and wild boar. To get a glimpse of burning bright shadow of the Royal Bengal Tiger is a common feature in this tiger reserve. Return to boat and enjoy the B.B.Q Dinner. Overnight journey toward Mongla port. Stay overnight on the boat. Day 13: Sundarban – Mongla – Bagherhat – Jashore – Dhaka Breakfast at the vessel and disembark from the boat. Drive to Bagherhat to visit 60 dome mosque (world heritage site), the Tomb of Khan Jahan Ali (R) - Founder of Bagherhat city. Further drive to Jessore to avail flight to Dhaka. Arrive and transfer to hotel for staying overnight in Dhaka. Day 14: Departure Morning transfer to the airport for your onward destination. ------ END OF TOUR ------
