BUDDHIST CIRCUIT TOUR IN BANGLADESH (8Nights - 9Days) Itinerary: Day 01: ARRIVAL AT DHAKA • Arrival at Dhaka International Airport. Meet & greet at the Terminal-2 and transfer by our representative and guide. • Dinner at Hotel. Overnight at hotel in Dhaka. Day-02: DHARMARAJIKA BUDDHIST MONASTERY COMPLEX & NATESHWAR BUDDHIST TEMPLE • Breakfast at the Hotel • Sightseeing at Dharmarajika Buddhist Monastery Complex in Dhaka was built in 1960 • Visit Nateshwar Buddhist temple- is one of the ancient Buddha temples in Bangladesh • Dinner & overnight at hotel in Dhaka. Day 03: MAHASTHANGARH & GOVINDA BHITA • Breakfast at the Hotel • Mahasthangarh, the earliest and largest urban archaeological site in Bengal dating back to the 3rd century B.C. • Visit Govinda Bhita- where remnants of two Buddhist temples built in the 11th century • Dinner & overnight at hotel in Bogra. Day 04: SOMAPURA MAHAVIHARA & HALUD VIHARA • Breakfast at the Hotel • Visit Somapura Mahavihara in Paharpur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most signicant Buddhist viharas in the Indian Subcontinent • Visit Halud Vihara comprises the archaeological remains of a Buddhist monastery • Dinner & overnight at hotel in Rajshahi. Day 05: BHOROT BHAINA • Breakfast at the Hotel • Sightseeing at the Bhorot Bhaina; is an archaeological site in south-western Bangladesh • Dinner & overnight at hotel in Jashore. Day 06: MAINAMATI BUDDHIST RUINS • Breakfast at the Hotel • Fly Back to Dhaka from Jashore • Visit Mainamati Buddhist ruins • Dinner and overnight hotel in Comilla. Day 07: GOLDEN TEMPLE & BUDDHIST VILLAGE • Breakfast at the Hotel • Visit Bandarban Golden Temple • Visit one Buddhist village • Dinner and overnight hotel in Bandarban. Day 08: RAMU BUDDHIST VILLAGE & TEMPLE, KHYANGS AND PAGODAS • Breakfast at the Hotel • Sightseeing covered Ramu Buddhist village & Temple • Visit Khyangs and pagodas containing images of Buddha in gold, bronze and other metals • Dinner and overnight hotel in Cox’s Bazar. Day 09: DEPARTURE • Breakfast at the Hotel • Transfer to the airport for departure with happy memories. Special Note: Rangamati, Khagrachhari, and Bandarban are three hill tract districts maintained by the District Administration, BGB, and Bangladesh Military. Foreigners need permission to visit these districts from the Home Ministry of Bangladesh and the application must be submitted a month ahead of the scheduled visit along with a passport copy, visa number, departure and arrival time, the district he intends to visit, the purpose of visit, activities detail, duration of stay, mode of travel, expected date of return etc. The package prices are inclusive of: 1.
